Installation Services

For Contractors

An insured art installation subcontractor who closes out clean. Firehawk handles art, mirror, signage and wall-mounted scope on Florida commercial projects — documented, scheduled to your sequence, and off your punch list the first time.

Small money, outsized risk

Art and mirror scope lands at the end of the schedule, when the finishes are in and any damage is expensive. The trades who will take it often cannot produce a certificate of insurance, will not sign your subcontract, and cannot be relied on to show up in the window you were given.

We have been the last trade in the building many times

Dozens of medical and outpatient clinics, The Maxwell at Xentury City, The Station Alafaya, La Union Tampa, restaurants and clubhouses. 2,700+ installations in 10+ years, 8,500+ pieces of museum-grade hardware, 5.0 across 100+ Google reviews. We carry three certificates of insurance — general liability, commercial auto and workers’ compensation — and we can name additional insureds. W-9, vendor onboarding and lien waivers are routine.

“Thank you for coming out so quickly. You guys always do great work.”

Hard installs are the whole point

Most of what designers and contractors call us for is the piece nobody else will touch — too heavy, too high, or too expensive to get wrong.

How it works

1. Request a proposal

Use the short form below and attach drawings or a piece schedule. Send what you have.

2. We return a line-item proposal

Crew size, duration and mobilization — plus our documentation up front.

3. We install to your sequence and close out

Walked, signed off, photographs and anchor documentation supplied on request.

Scope we take

  • Art, framed work and mirrors in guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, clinics and offices
  • Oversized and heavy pieces, including suspended and ceiling-hung installations
  • Substrate-specific anchoring — concrete block, poured concrete, plaster, tile, metal stud, glass-faced partitions
  • ADA-height and grab-bar work anchored into studs wherever possible
  • Signage, wall-mounted panels and donor walls
  • Phased installations, occupied buildings, night and weekday after-hours work

Commercial rates

Job type 2 installers 3 4
Half day (up to 4 hours) $600 $900 $1,200
Full day (up to 8 hours) $1,100 $1,650 $2,200

Day rates are fixed by crew size, not billed by the hour, so a scope that runs long does not move the number. Pieces over 250 pounds or hung from the ceiling need engineer sign-off and are quoted separately. Mileage is billed at $0.67 per mile outside the greater Orlando area, and a $200 deposit reserves the date. Commercial work is invoiced by our office on agreed terms — your client is never handed an invoice on site.

The questions we get asked most

  • Can you issue a COI naming the owner and the GC? Yes — send the requirements and we will have it issued before mobilization.
  • Will you sign our subcontract? Send it across and we will review it; we sign standard subcontracts regularly.
  • What happens when the schedule moves? It always does — tell us the new window and we re-sequence around the trades ahead of us.
  • Who is responsible if a wall is damaged? We are — documented and resolved before we demobilize.
  • How far out do you book? Typically two weeks, and we hold dates against a signed proposal. If your window is tighter than that, tell us anyway — we keep capacity for schedule moves, because they are normal on every job we have ever been on.
  • Can you quote from the bid package alone? Yes, when the pertinent information is there — use the proposal form below. You get a line-item number back, not a range.

Request a proposal

Tell us about the project and attach whatever you have. Missing a couple of details is fine — we will tell you what else we need. Proposals typically go back within two business days, with insurance documentation attached.

Prefer email? Send the bid package to hello@firehawkartinstallers.com or call (407) 573-7775.

Left to the wrong sub, this scope is what keeps a job open: an uninsured crew turned away at the dock, a mirror anchored into grout, and a punch item that outlives the rest of the project. Firehawk has been the last trade in the building on hundreds of Florida jobs — insured, documented, and sequenced to your schedule. Request a proposal and take this scope off your list.
